Hijs jij de zeilen als de rest zeeziek is? Wil jij leren zeilen op een klassiek zeilschip? Kortom, mogen ze echt niet zonder jou vertrekken?! I am Isabel Núñez, student of Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management at Wageningen university. I really would like to join you guys! I did a basic course of sailing a few years ago but I would like to improve and enjoy sailing. I can’t speak Dutch at the moment but I am following a Dutch course so I hope than in a few months being able to speak your language.

Hi Isabel,
Normally we only accept Dutch speaking students, due to communication on board and within the team. However, you’re learning Dutch so this makes it a little more complicated. As I’m myself not joining the Race this year (was captain previous years) I’ll leave the decision to the captains of the new team. I’ll forward your message, and ask them to contact you. For now, maybe you can fill in the “aanmeldingsformulier” the form which you can use to sign in, using google translate?
I don’t know whether you would specifically like to sail on tallships? then maybe you can look to the trips on the Oban for example. http://www.sailoban.com, that’s where you could book a trip! Or maybe joining Aqua would be an idea, the sailing association in Wageningen.
